A Day of Costume, Leeds City Museum, Saturday 20th November 2010

Ladies of the North who belong to any sort of Textile Group, WI, Countrywomen's Association, etc., will no doubt be familiar with the work of the History Wardrobe.  One of their very popular talks/demonstrations is the one entitled 'Undressing Mr Darcy', exploring the intricacies of the gentleman's wardrobe.

In connection with the current costume exhibition, 'Heroes and Heroines', at the Leeds City Museum,  Costume and Textile Curator  Natalie Raw will lead an event of talks, guides and presentations.  And yes, the History Wardrobe will be 'Undressing Mr Darcy'.

Tickets for the full day event are £28 (£25 NUS) to include lunch.  For tickets ring 0113 39 50351 or visit the Leeds City Museum shop.  For further information go to City Museum What's On
